Stoneridge Country Club had been experiencing severe drought conditions for nearly two years. Due to heavy water restrictions, they were not able to water the course frequently enough to keep the grass green.
In the summer of 2015, the team at MOIS aerated several tee boxes and fairway approaches. We then treated half of the aerated areas with MOIS, while leaving the other half untreated. Watering then continued at the same restricted levels as the rest of the course.
Results began to show after just one week. A significantly noticeable difference in color and fullness began to show after 2 1/2 weeks. As the study continued through the end of 2015, the areas treated with MOIS were flourishing, able to achieve and maintain green, lush grass, even with severe water restrictions in place. All areas of the course that were not treated with MOIS were brown and dying or already dead.
